Eligibility

An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A full time resident of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
  • A full time student of a Massachusetts academic institution.

Divisions:

  • Open - Age 21 or over on the date of the competition.
  • Junior - Over 18 and under 21 by on the date of the competition
  • Scholastic - 18 or younger on the date of the competition

Match 1 - Small-bore - 3 position at 50 yards, 20 shots per position

Match 2 - Small-bore 100 Yards - 60 shots


Relay Times:

Registration will open at 7:45am in the club house

Relay 1 - 3p small-bore only: 9am to 11:30am - Prep Time will start at 8:57 - firing at 9am

Relay 2 - 100 Yard Prone only: 12 noon to 1:30 - Prep time will start at 12pm - firing at 12:03pm

Relay 3 - If Needed - Mixed 3p and Prone, 2:30pm to 5pm The range will be split where needed so all 3p on one side

and prone on the other if needed.


Small-bore 3p

  • 3 minute prep - NO LIVE FIRING
  • Iron sights only
  • Kneeling Block time - 33 minutes for unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record - You may go back to sighters at
  • any time during the block time.
  • Target Change 5 minutes/5 min change over of equipment to prone
  • Prone Block time - 23 minutes for unlimited sighters and 20 record shots - You may go back to sighters at any time during the block time.
  • Target Change 5 minutes/5 minute change over of equipment to Offhand
  • Offhand Block Time - 43 minutes for unlimited sighters and 20 shots for record - You may go back to sighters at any time during the block time.

**Time will expire when the last competitor is finished. The clock will not be allowed to run out. This will apply to each stage.


Small-bore - 100 yards, 60 shots

  • Iron sights or scope
  • 3 minute prep - NO LIVE FIRING
  • Prone Block time - 23 minutes - Unlimited sighters - 20 shots for record - You may go back to sighters at any time during the block time.
  • 10 minute target change
  • Prone Block time - 23 minutes - Unlimited sighters - 20 shots for record - You may go back to sighters at any time during the block time.
  • 10 minute target change
  • Prone Block time - 23 minutes - Unlimited sighters - 20 shots for record - You may go back to sighters at any time during the block time.

  • This is a non-registered Match
  • NRA or CMP membership is not required to participate

**Personal wind flags are permitted as long as they do not interfere with another shooter.


Conduct

All competitors, parents, coaches and observes are to conduct themselves professionally on and off the line. Any interference in the running of the match will not be tolerated and such individuals will be asked to leave. Competitors are asked to keep all equipment neatly organized behind them in such a way that a clear path is there for line officials. All competitors and spectators are asked to clean up after the matches are completed. Once the competitors are called to the line, only the line officials may approach the competitor. If a coach would like to talk to a competitor they need to contact the line official and they will pull the competitor from the line. Observers, parents and coaches are encouraged to sir and relax being the firing line.
